第一次使用
First-time setup
先加入主屏幕
iPhone / iPad：用 Safari 打开 App → 点“共享”（方框里一个向上的箭头；没看到就先点右下角“···”）→“添加到主屏幕”→“添加”。
Android：用 Chrome 打开 App → 右上角菜单 →“安装应用”或“添加到主屏幕”。
再用邮箱注册
从主屏幕图标重新打开 App，到「设置」输入邮箱，填写收到的 6 位验证码就好，不用设密码。不注册的话，你抓的词只存在这一台设备上——换手机或清除应用数据就可能丢失。注册之后精灵会自动备份，换设备接着学。
选年级与显示语言
首次打开先选年级。到「设置」可随时更改界面语言和讲解语言。
添加要学的单词本
点抓词页左上角的科目按钮，加入英语、法语、生物、物理、数学等单词本。不同科目的同一个词可以分别保存。
设一个昵称
昵称会出现在排行榜和班级中；你还可以写简介，并挑最多 3 只精灵公开展示。
Add it to your Home Screen first
iPhone / iPad: open the app in Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
Android: open it in Chrome → top-right menu → Install app or Add to Home screen.
Then register with your email
Reopen the app from its Home Screen icon, go to Settings, enter your email and type the six-digit code — no password needed. Without an account, the words you catch live only on this device and may be lost if you change phones or clear app data. Once registered, your sprites back up automatically.
Choose your year and language
Select your year level on first launch. You can change the interface and explanation languages in Settings.
Add your word books
Tap the subject button at the top of Catch to add English, French, Biology, Physics, Mathematics and more. The same term can have a separate card in each subject.
Pick a username
Your username appears in the leaderboard and class. You can also add a bio and showcase up to three sprites.

先选对单词本
看左上角显示的科目。学科术语要放进对应单词本，释义和之后的练习才会按该学科生成。
输入单词或词组
完整输入你看到的词形或短语。系统会还原常见词形，并给出适合你年级和讲解语言的释义。
记下遇见它的地方
来源、章节、当时的句子或个人记忆都可以填写。记录一次真实语境，精灵会从「幼体」成长。
保存精灵
再次遇到同一个词时继续保存新语境，App 会把它们合并到同一张词卡，不会重复造一只。
Choose the right word book
Check the subject shown at the top left. Put subject terms in the matching book so definitions and later practice use the right context.
Enter a word or phrase
Type the form or full phrase you saw. The app recognises common word forms and gives a definition suited to your year and explanation language.
Record where you met it
Add the source, chapter, original sentence or a personal memory. One genuine context moves the sprite beyond Hatchling.
Save your sprite
If you meet the same word again, save the new context. The app merges encounters into one card instead of making a duplicate.

快速找到词
搜索词头、释义或自己的笔记，也可以按词性、等级、来源和标签筛选。
打开完整词卡
点精灵查看发音、例句、遇见记录和进化进度。成长后会解锁更多词性、近义反义、词族或学科概念。
发现不准确就改
AI 释义可能出错。可在词卡里改写释义；中文拼音选错多音字时，也可手动修正。
整批整理
先用筛选框出一批词（比如某个标签、某一本书），再点「🧺 整理」，就能一次给整批加标签、去标签、标来源、换单词本或删除。改错了，撤销条点一下就全放回去。标签本身的重命名、合并和删除在筛选面板的「🏷 管理标签」里。
切换不同单词本
图鉴只显示当前科目。找不到词时，先检查当前单词本和设置中的科目开关。
Find a word quickly
Search by headword, definition or your own note, or filter by part of speech, level, source and tag.
Open the full card
Tap a sprite for pronunciation, examples, encounter history and evolution progress. Growth unlocks other parts of speech, synonyms, antonyms, word families or subject concepts.
Correct anything inaccurate
AI definitions can be wrong. Edit a definition on the card, and correct Chinese pinyin if a character was read incorrectly.
Tidy a whole batch
Filter down to the batch you mean (one tag, one book), then tap “🧺 Tidy” to tag, untag, set a source, move or delete all of them at once. Got it wrong? The undo bar puts everything back. Renaming, merging and deleting the tags themselves lives under “🏷 Manage tags” in the filter panel.
Switch word books
The Dex shows only the current subject. If a word seems missing, check the active book and subject switches in Settings.

Stage shows how deeply you have learnt a word; level and XP show total practice. Together they shape the sprite and unlock more card content.

🙂 普通测验
没有倒计时，适合每天复习。题型按精灵等级、词性和年级自动搭配。
⏱ 计时测验
限时内全部答对可获双倍 XP；答错或超时，本轮不计分，但已有 XP 不会减少。
♾ 无尽模式
解锁后可挑战。每题限时，答得快、连对多，XP 越高；答错结束，已赚 XP 保留。
✍️ 写作 / 应用
语言本可以自己选 1–3 个词造句，也可随机选词；学科本用情景、辨析和填空。只有真正用对，才推进最终进化。
🎏 限时玩法
科学周、七夕这类活动期间，测验里会临时多出一档限时玩法。活动结束就会自动消失。
🙂 Normal quiz
No timer. Ideal for daily review. Questions match sprite level, part of speech and year level.
⏱ Timed quiz
Get every answer right before time runs out for double XP. A wrong answer or timeout scores nothing for that round, but existing XP is safe.
♾ Endless mode
Challenge it once unlocked. Speed and streaks multiply XP. One miss ends the run, while earned XP stays yours.
✍️ Writing / Apply
In language books, choose 1–3 words yourself or pick them at random; subject books use scenarios, distinctions and cloze questions. Correct application moves a sprite to its final stage.
🎏 Limited-time modes
During events such as Science Week and Qixi, an extra limited-time mode appears in the quiz. It disappears on its own when the event ends.

常见问题
Common questions
查不了新词或批改失败怎么办？
先确认网络和登录状态。免费账号每天有 AI 额度；用完后，已保存的词、图鉴和普通测验仍可使用，第二天会恢复。
我的词突然不见了？
通常是切到了另一本单词本，或在设置中关掉了该科目。重新切换或开启后，原来的词会回来，并没有被删除。
换手机后怎样找回精灵？
在新设备用同一邮箱登录并等待同步。若旧设备从未登录，数据只在旧设备本机，需要先在那里登录同步。
键盘打不出 é、ö 这些符号怎么办？
直接打 cafe、uber 就行，测验会算你对，然后把带符号的正规写法显示出来。（ö 也可以写成 oe。）不过书面考试是算重音的，看到提示时留意一下写法。
为什么没有发音？
发音使用设备自带语音。请在系统辅助功能或语音设置里安装对应语言的声音，然后重新打开 App。
AI 给的解释不对怎么办？
以课本、老师或可靠词典为准。打开词卡手动改写释义；学科词还可以按当前学科重新查询。
离线时还能做什么？
可以打开 App、浏览已保存词卡和进行大部分本地测验。新词查询、同步、排行榜和 AI 写作批改需要联网。
Why can’t I look up a word or get writing feedback?
Check your connection and sign-in first. Free accounts have a daily AI allowance. Saved words, the Dex and normal quizzes still work after it is used, and it refreshes next day.
Why have my words disappeared?
You probably switched books or turned that subject off in Settings. Switch back or re-enable it; cards were hidden, not deleted.
How do I recover sprites on a new phone?
Sign in with the same email and wait for sync. If the old device was never signed in, sign in there first to upload its local data.
What if I can’t type é, ö and other accents?
Just type cafe or uber — the quiz accepts it and then shows you the properly accented spelling. (You can also write ö as oe.) Written exams do count accents, so take a moment to note the correct form when it appears.
Why is there no pronunciation?
Pronunciation uses voices on your device. Add one for the language in system accessibility or speech settings, then reopen the app.
What if an AI explanation is wrong?
Trust your textbook, teacher or a reliable dictionary first. Edit the definition, or re-check a subject term using the current subject.
What works offline?
You can open the app, browse saved cards and do most local quizzes. New lookups, sync, leaderboard and AI writing feedback need a connection.
